At the base, in fact, there is a real organic snail breeding where snails are raised respecting their natural life cycle, respecting their development time and without the use of feed or other products that speed up their growth and alter their properties/quality.

BREEDING

This is the Lumaca Regina breeding (www.lumacaregina.com) which was established in 2017 in Venosa, at the foot of Mount Vulture, in a geographical area known for the production of Aglianico wine and for the numerous springs of natural mineral water. The particular characteristics of the soil, of volcanic origin, make the snails of this breeding unique. Therefore, starting from a quality snail we get a quality snail slime, with a high quantity of active ingredients inside, extracted in purity and without damaging the snails.

ETHICAL QUALITY

Those who use the cosmetic line Balù with the purest snail slime have an additional awareness: that of having the certainty that the slime used for cosmetics is produced using snails that are made in Italy, coming from organic farming and that are reintroduced in the breeding once the process of extraction of the slime is finished. The ethics of the natural is our trademark and we find it not just in the slime, but also in the choice of the other ingredients that make up the formulations of all our products. Our philosophy does not include the use of Parabens, Petrolatums, Siliconates or other ingredients harmful to the skin. All the ingredients we use are of vegetable or natural origin. Last but not least, all Balù products are tested on sensitive skin to guarantee the consumer not just the effectiveness of the product, but also safety on all skin types, even the most delicate ones.
